My Writing I Made in Term 2.

In my writing I have seen a lot of progress. Since the beginning of the year I only was writing about three lines but now I can write over 1,000. I am always excited to write a story when I get to school I have gone along way with my progress of writing and I am so  happy that I can muster my ideas, write my story so I can put it on the blog for the world to see.  I have also noticed that when I start writing I’m really hooked into it and my eyes never wander off the screen.

Before the chromebook, I was making a lot of spelling mistakes and my writing never made sense. My hands were getting sore, I had messy work, I was getting tired of erasing out every time I made a mistake and you could even see the mistake when you're writing over it again. Now I think I have really good typing skills and my work is always neat. This is one reason why I have made progress in my writing.

The best thing about narrative writing is, you can make up anything and you can even choose your own characters for your story. But I still need more help on my story’s when I proofread. I use the Read & Write app. When I finish my story I don't need to read over it again and again, we have an American lady read to us and it really helps me a lot because I can hear where my mistakes are.

I have noticed that my typing is improving compared to the beginning months of this year because I’m coming more and more Faster. I love chromebooks because you don’t need to spend time erasing out and getting sore hands from writing with a pencil.

I have learnt to become a better learner on the chromebooks and because of this I want to share the chromebooks to the world. Now that I have a chromebook, I am not worried about my presentation, spelling and proofreading and because of this I have become a confident writer.

Fracture Fairytale,

Little Green Sylvah
In a small town called Kai Kohekohe, there lived a girl named Little Green Sylvah and her mother Chosen.  Chosen asked Little Green Sylvah to go pick some flowers for her nana and bake a cake as Nana was very sick.

Little Green Sylvah set of to visit her sick Nana with goodies, she put on her green cloak and her green boots.

As she set off, her mother told her not to talk to strangers.

Little Green Sylvah decided to walk through the forest because it was a short-cut. She heard a churp, it was a wolf.

He said to “Little Green Sylvah , Where are you going little girl?”

Little Green Sylvah said, “To my Nan’s house.”

“Where does your Nan live?”

“Down William's Avenue.” replied Little Green Sylvah.

“What number?” asked the wolf.

“15,” Little Green Sylvah was so talkative that she forgot her mother’s warning, not to talk to strangers.

So the Big Bad Wolf decided to visit Nan and he took a shot cut.

When he finally got to the house of Nana Ngarangi, he crept inside and caught Nana Ngarangi. Then the wolf wrapped Nan up in a blanket and put her in the closet and then the wolf jumped into Nan’s bed.

When Little Green Sylvah finally arrived at Nan’s house she went in and she saw her nana lying ill in her bed.  She said to her Nan (who really was the wolf)

“Nana I brought you some flowers, made your favorite cake and made you a flask of hot coffee, just like you like it”.

As she went to go and kiss her Nana, the wolf suddenly jumped out of the bed.

“You!!! What are you doing? Where’s my nana?” screamed Little Green Sylvah.

The wolf replied, “Shosh little girl, your nana is somewhere you will never find her.” Then the wolf grabbed her and shoved her in the closet.

The police heard a noise as he was walking past Nan’s house. so he ran quickly into her house, as fast as a cheetah. He saw the Big Bad Wolf and said, “What are you doing with that little girl?”
“She’s my soup.” replied the Big Bad Wolf.
So the policeman had no choice but pull out his gun and aim it straight at the wolf.

The wolf saw the gun and bravely said, “hahahaha! I dare you to shoot me.”

The policeman replied “OK then.” and he shot him.

The policeman untied Little Green Sylvah and they both found Nana  who was shoved in the closet.

Nana  looked at the basket of food that was tossed around in the house, so she decided to take Little Green Sylvah and the policeman to McDonalds.

….The end….
